I came here to say this! They're a publicly traded company, they could release LaMDA right now but the second that some person testing the chat bot gets it to say something about being racist or some other hot topic item. It'll blow up and their stock will tank or they'll be all over the news. ChatGPT is not production ready, no way in heck. I've had it build code for me and it's good but that code always needs to be fixed. That being said, it did a hell of a job cooking my tri-tip this Christmas. All I had was an air fryer and it came out perfect!
