I"ve thought about the bank issue before. It is n to illegal to use cash, but they'd love to make it so. I'm sick of banks ripping me off. I'm sick of the lack of privacy. The FTC also told me that medical records are a common way for SS numbers to be stolen. People who work in those offices, who have no security clearance, can harvest thousands of SS numbers and sell them. Nice. I also found out via Budget Rental car that someone is using my name and my day and month of birth (different year) as their drivers license. I have no idea how that could happen, but it did. It's the same drivers license number, same name, everything, but the year and their address is the same. I'm so sick of this. ​ I was looking at one of those data mining sites a few months ago, and found out that you can opt out. Okay, great. And there are scrubbers that will do the work for you, because apparently, you'll never finish the job on your own. When I saw that they wanted my SS number--I was flabbergasted. Just GIVE you my SS number? When this is the topic? Amazing, but. people will fall for that.
