I’ve had a lot of work done recently and I would happily employ an English builder, if they show up on time or indeed at all. It’s all I ask. Now maybe they are super in demand which is why I can’t get another one, or why they show up a week late like the last dude. This is why everything else in my flat has been done by Romanians.
Hell, I am one of 2 English developers in my team at work, everyone else is Romanian or Polish. My Portuguese SO is a nurse and works with mainly Portuguese, Spanish and Filipino people. Do English people even work at all? Or do they all work in sales? Who knows.
