The west wont do anything as long as China continues to supply an exploitable labor force that can be beaten if they don't work fast enough and tossed in a ditch if they die on the job.
But you can bet if China ever outlawed child labor or indentured servitude, or passed environmental or safety regulations that cut into western profits, we would find an excuse to invade even if it started WW3.
