They were getting targetted by neo-nazis so the training data was incredibly skewed. It's like if you were compiling data on wastewater treatment plants in the US and one particular town heard about it so they sent you hundreds of thousands of copies of data for their one plant, made it look like it was coming from hundreds of thousands of different plants, and the data for the plant is how they just spew shit directly into the local drinking water supply.
