Tesla's cars are not self driving. They have the hardware for it but the software doesn't exist yet. They only have autopilot, which is a suite of programmed features to reduce driving stress. The main autopilot mode is traffic aware cruise control combined with a lane keep assist function. It's only considered level 2 automatic by automotive standards (level 4/5 are self driving).
