*Sorts by Controversial* I have a comment. Theres a lot of rhetoric from US citizens going around about Europe, sniding comments about how dare we luxuriously have health care and reasonably priced education. The US can absolutely afford health care and non-ridiculous university fees, and Americans deserve these social services. The cost is to pay more taxes, just like Europeans do, and not get into another war. There are comments on Nato and how Europeans don't pull their weight. Yes, Europeans spend *slightly less* of their GDP than the US, but then again, we don't manage ongoing wars, and the US Iraq war cost the US taxpayer $2.4 Trillion. $2.4 Trillion. Thats a health care system right there. Then the deregulation of banking that lead to the 2008 crisis and the bailout of Goldman Sachs. Theres your university fees. No military spending by Europe would have saved the Treasury. Based on Trumps stance and even questioning NATO, Europe will probably increase its military spending to protect its boarders and that will cost money yes. And Europe being armed to the teeth never fucked up right? Right? ...RIGHT?
