It's not 600 million on specifically abortions. Any service that provides abortions, or talks about them, gets their funding cut.
It's like Planned Parenthood in the US, only a small percentage of what they do is abortions, yet federal funding is not allowed to go towards them, and still conservatives want to strip funding for PP even though they provide so many great benefits for people.
And that 600 million is still being spent on the same type of foreign aid. Just can't go to any organization that even mentions abortions.
