I’m so glad you brought this up. I’m in the tech industry and I’m terrified of the future of AI. Not only does it have a significant climate impact but the societal impact could be disastrous. I do not think it is worth it to continue this tech at the risk of humanity. As Elon said “it’s 5050 if it is the end of humanity, and I just want to be there to see what happens”
