Where did 250 number come from? The rich were always above laws, at least a bit above. It seems that it's possible there will again be a divide such as between kings and slaves. King doesn't follow laws applied to slaves.
I think it's naive to think that people who produce nothing and own nothing will benefit from the type of future where all labor is essentially automated. There's a potential of outcome far worse than slavery the world has ever seen.
