I know everyone here is criticising BP, and playing down the catastrophic effects that China's slowing economy and OPEC's inability to steady oil supply, but can we spare a thought for the 7000 people about to loose their livelihood, these are very skilled and talented men and women who are being thrown into a job market that is in turmoil, most of these people won't be able to find work using their skills and knowledge because the industry is so over saturated with people who have already been thrown from their jobs. It's very easy to criticise these big corporations and even easier to forget that actual human beings are at all levels just trying to earn a good wage and live a happy life. So I wish anyone working in the oil and gas industry who is threatened with unemployment good luck and brighter days ahead.
