All wars violate human rights, especially the most fundamental one: the right to live. That's the point of war: to force others to comply by the systematical and (presumably) targeted violation of their fundamental rights. So the question should rather be: should killer robots be banned under the Geneva convention? And the answer most countries would give is most likely: NO, they should be allowed. And their reasoning could go like this: while a virus or a chemical can't chose to attack friends or foes or innocent bystanders, a rightfully programmed or controlled robot can make such choice. Not perfectly, of course, but nothing in the real world is, not even human soldiers. So they'll stay.
