The highest paid Koreans I've known were a public school principal who had 43 years of automatic yearly wage growth and a 40yo middle manager at a chemical plant with only a diploma to his name.
All of my ~30yo friends are highly educated and barely making 3m/month with between 3-8yrs experience. It's enough, but only for a basic lifestyle.
