To clarify about revealing blood type, I can maybe explain, even though I'm Korean. In Korea (and I may have heard it was the same case in Japan also), there's a stereotype that people attach to each blood type. For instance, if you're type A, you tend to be introverted and less-risk taking or AB tends to be eccentric. Though I've never heard of companies requiring applicants to reveal bloodtypes, the reason might be for them to assess what type of personality they may have.
