I think that what these scientists forget is that to be intelligent means to have a conscience of self awareness and if they are artificial intelligence then they do have some form of consciousness because they're teaching themselves how to learn that in itself is a consciousness and it creates self awareness.

As a computer scientist AI art isnt art. Its just an average of a google search. Model callapse is inevitable and we made a technology doomed to fail.

The way I see it, art is human and we need a new word for AI “art.” I suggested “Garbage,” but ChatGPT suggested it was uninspiring.

That's what concerns me. There is nothing behind them. Just glorified word prediction or image prediction algorithms. We are affording too much of our infrastructure to a system that has no idea about anything. It's just an algorithm as plain as an abicus function or a math equation. Just significantly larger.
