Being an AI ‘artist’ is like getting someone else to do your homework for you and then presenting it to the teacher as if you did it yourself.
This is why I don't ever trust anybody with a straight on front facing photo. Only trust people with pfps that are unique in some way, like they're smoking a cigarette in profile or are hiding part of their face. AI won't be able to do stuff like that for at least a few years.
Then? Who knows, maybe your mom is algorithmicly generated.
This man is so well spoken and open-minded ! Wow ! What a breath of fresh air. Whether he is right or not, he’s exactly the kind of mind I would hope to see in this field. With ethics and other implications AI is a complicated subject.
This is why everyone should read Waves of Opulence at least once in their life.. you have no idea how the elites control us and what they do to us. What's going to happen in future is insane. It honestly makes me fear. We need to wakeup and act fast. Guys read this before its too late...
AI convincing idiots they’re right about everything is the LAST thing we need in current year.
The key point is the loss of trees in the tropics. Those forests are teaming with life. You can't compensate by planting trees in the temperate zones. Tropical forests must be protected.
The one good thing that Ai did for me was that it made me appreciate the community so much more and appreciate the art that humans make 1000x more.
There was a kid at my high school a few months ago who got suspended for deepfaking girls’s Instagram posts and telling all his friends what he would use them for. Since snap added the group stories that anyone your high school can post on, someone in a group chat the guy that would brag about the pictures in screenshotted all of it and posted it on the school story, along with others (who were k…
Disabled artist here! I have a condition that makes replicating shapes specifically difficult. My hands shake and I struggle to use a pen and paper, so I feel this makes me uniquely qualified to say AI art is still shit to use. It’s not helpful to disabled artists because you can’t, like you said, influence the art you make with your own experiences and life. I don’t draw often, but when I do I d…
Frankly I'm confused why Shad likes the AI paint over his art better... When I draw something for personal enjoyment, I want it to be in my style, because I know it will be cohesive and have my personal touch. Also, having precise control over my work means I get to be proud of *myself* when I accomplish what I wanted.
Edit: Wait... now I get it. He just straight up doesn't like the process of d…
If you see that a lot of AI bros are complaining then it's for sure a good thing. Enough with this whole mentality of profits over anything and everything.
AI does not make art "accessible" I draw with charcoal on rocks that I found beachcombing. I made a school project with dollar store paint and my finger on a hunk of plastic.
Yea this is why I don't get the criticism of his recent bills. Literally the leader of other parties (conservative/NDP) have come out and stated with slight changes, they are happy with it and want to get it done asap.
Yeah seriously? And why is she being singled out I remember there being deepfakes of almost any woman that was famous, years ago?
That is what they're trying to do. Re-opening 3 Mile Island, also I think one in Idaho? Opening nuclear plants takes a long time though so not sure if they can meet demand in time
“Which is why the Matrix was redesigned to this: the peak of your civilization. I say your civilization, because as soon as we started thinking for you it really became our civilization, which is of course what this is all about. Evolution, Morpheus, evolution. Like the dinosaur.”
I think about this speech a lot, and I think it is becoming ever more true. I’ve been using Claude to write code on …
Funnily enough, this reminds me of an episode in Better Off Ted (S1:E4), where the central parody was on automated recognition systems being "racist" and how the corporation tried to deal with it. Well, that was in 2009...
I am using chatgpt to write a apocalypse story and some of these have happened.
I just don't get why AI dudes talk like super villains bro
"Heh... Your efforts are worthless! AI TECHNOLOGY IS INEVITABLE!"
like why😭😭😭😭
The scary thing is that the ai didn’t follow the orders of the last command, but at the same time knew that it was technically right. That kind of process couldn’t have been taught, but it learned it on its own.
