That's honestly amazing how it went from wrong turn, to correcting itself. Didn't just stop and freeze. No damage or any trouble to traffic. Sad spin. WAYMO needs half a million dollars in sensors to barely drive a small section of road. Tesla already covers a greater distance in Austin...
Honestly didn’t expect much, but Clever AI Humanizer makes AI text sound like a real person wrote it 💯🔥
Our factory installed a AI program last year. Installing it and coding it costed more then a million bugs. It's supposed to calculate production, costumer demand. It orders parts, tools, etc. Makes the planning. Toghetter with people on top it calculated that we have to many workers that would save costs if they're just fired. Now workers are constantly switching functions and do work they're not …
First they put restrictions on AI for Europe, now he is demanding that we accept it. Is he pretending to be dumb or he really is as hollow as barrel?
diehard ai bros didn't experience the joy of sitting in their room at the age of 13 listening to breaking benjamin and drawing their ocs kissing and it really shows
even if the person faked does make there own sexual content, there own business gets undermined by bootleggers basically, and even if someone consents to be photographed nude in there own content, that doesnt mean they consent to being deepfaked. thanks for talking about this charlie, ur a stand up guy
It's better to acquire skills like those of an electrician and a plumber than to pursue a college graduate degree. AI does not do its job.
Can we change the way we talk about this? Let’s stop saying “AI art” and instead say “image generation.” And instead of “AI artist,” let’s just say “clanker user".
Indeed. But it is not the ChatGPT's fault.
...Parents let son use the AI
...Son is responsible for his own choices.
...AI can be manipulated by the questions being asked.
People! STOP blaming everything else for your problems.
...take some personal responsibility!
i’d sneak in workbeaver AI to that list tbh, it’s this show-and-tell ai i’ve been using. just showed it how i do one of my regular tasks, and now it runs it for me. no coding, no setup. i really like how intuitive it is.
This is exactly why US AI companies need to be regulated. As well as all US social media platforms
Much like a child growing up, what they are shown and told either creates or warps the thoughts in their minds. The more positive information that is received by the start of the programming, and is continually prolonged, then we may have created some kind of.. Real, feeling, entity. Not organically alive but.. In terms of information and emotion? I'd say the soul of a robot is only as strong as …
Architect here, thank you for the research, Max. Huge Fan! AI is being advanced rapidly, and in some sense blindly, I believe we should view and cater AI & automation as a tool to improve people’s lives rather than something that creates fear around job loss. Its real value is in freeing up time so humans can focus on the work that truly requires us , creative expression, caregiving, healthcare, …
You are a genius, Brian. All the questions were spot on, but sadly the answers were too vague, blurry, and didn’t convince me—or maybe I’m too stupid to understand. Either way, we are still in the early stages, with too many ambiguities at this level of AI. There is still a lot we don’t know, and I don’t think it would help much to also face another conscious superintelligence.
Where is the demand for the AI slop, no one asked for this. The billionaires and corporations are the ones pushing this and driving up cost for the everyday consumer.
I know, at least for me, that I will flat out refuse to consume any piece of media where an AI has replaced a person or multiple people and or has been utilized to make integral creative decisions.
As an artist AI art is tertifying. Being an artist is already hard, being replaced by an algorithm is my greatest fear
Anyway deep thoughts aside I spent a minute listening to the jazz cover at the end
If they couldn't even pause development of AI what makes you think they will have any control over this in just a few years.
AI does not write poetry. It mimics. It’s a simulacrum. It doesn’t create any art. It steals from real artists, mixes it up in a big vat, and spits out tasteless glop.
Facial recognition is an investigative tool to be used in conjunction with other evidence and witness testimony, not to be used solely to obtain arrest warrants. The agency is liable for any civil rights violations that occur through the misuse of the technology. Lazy police work paid for by taxpayers.
