AI will work for billionaires, income inequality will be huge. AI is breeding ground to another reveloution. People will get poor. Medieval times has come.
I asked what’s the best toxic yaoi and the „ai“ answered „Mr turner and the dinkleberg“
The best thing I did for myself for depression was be with my emotions instead of analyzing them or pushing them away. If I sat there long enough and just felt my sadness, I would eventually feel a natural glow of compassion and joy which motivates me to get up and do self-care.
Jeez why have children anymore at this point if they're only going to live and grow up in a world where A.I replaces and replaced everything good in it, and will never know anything else or what it was like before? I already feel bad for all the people growing up today who were born in years after me, and I was born in 2006, because they had even less time than I did to experience a world before …
I notice Dario didn't answer Anderson's question about what would motivate the children, when AI can write better than any human, can draw, paint and create images better than any human, won't be long before that appllies to every human endeavour. I haven't heard anyone come up with any positive thoughts on this.
Did you hear about amazons "AI driven" checkout-less stores? In the end it didn't actually work and it's been reported they just outsourced it to low cost labour in India instead!
LLM is a bruteforce approach. You got current emergence effect because you fed decades of public Internet data collected and labeled into cloud computing infra, and powered it with energy equivalent of dedicated power plant.
Next emergence effect may very well require power input of the whole globe, and all sensory data collected (and not even labeled) which doesn't event exist yet. And then may …
Would this problem not be solved if you showed your lineart/sketch/progress in some way of the piece? After all, an AI generated piece will always be finished without any steps before that. Meanwhile, artists will have their progress to show, they can show the different layers they used, their tools etc.
I hope this helps soothen your mind a little.
@patyt1210 you can certainly try to mimic art styles for practice or reference, but it's morally wrong to impersonate another artist's style and sell it. That's what people are currently using AI for.
They know creation is literally the only one things that is worth in this world. You can feel the envy these people have of artists, they even call themselves artists when they make AI ""art"" which is quite the opposite of art.
Photography didn't make painting obselete.
Digital painting through software didn't make painting obselete.
AI speeds up the process and will reduce the amount of job, but human artists creative insights will always have place.
I mean yeah ai is not on that level obviously. The whole CEOs yapping about ai replacing people is their dream. They wish it was true. But that doesn't mean it'll never come true one day it'll write perfect codes and everything. And even now a skilled coder can be replaced by a mid coder with very good ai knowledge.
@Angel-tw3ko This completely proves institutional racism, there must be a kkk guy programming the algorithm to that software to prosecute black people, or maybe cameras need lighting and black people don't reflect light very well, but thats not racist enough.... let's go back to blaming the camera for racism because that makes sense.... remember folks we must find racism in all things or it's not …
@Chiller-pc1dv You can learn by yourself without any guidance, but without an understanding of the fundamentals and by focusing exclusively on practice alone through trial and enough, it's gonna take a LOT longer than it should.
I'm not trying to justify AI, by the way. I do have a generally negative attitude towards it. But I do also have to acknowledge areas in which the art community could i…
Actually he's warning against it. Might wanna look into cern buddy. There's your real ai cult
There is another side to this. Pink Elephant Syndrome. PES is when you tell an creative writing AI a secret story detail that will become a big reveal. like a spoiler. Darth Vader is Luke's father. AI can't sit on a secret for more than half a page. It can't help itself. It is driven to communicate everything it knows about a subject matter and doesn't know how to restrain itself or omit details.…
^ this! The fastest growing market in AI generated code right now is in cleaning up AI slop code.
It may help you get to a proof of concept pretty quickly, but creating maintainable and reliable code is a lot harder when you don't understand what has been written.
Scott Cawthon is a horror author writing stories about people being forcefully replaced by robots.
Which is incredibly funny, because modern humans would willingly let AI replace their lives. There is no need to live, AI can do it for them.
I think about this every day. When humans become bored, they tend to head in the wrong direction. Greed will ruin mankind because humans need to work and be active. I love AI but I think we should really limit its capabilities. Let's keep people working so they have a drive to become better in life.
@germansniper5277 no, what OP means is that actual artists take a small part of another artist's style, and mix it in with differing characteristics to create an original style. For example, one artist might draw people with Small eyes, big hands and narrow torsos. Another artist might be inspired by that artists way of drawing eyes and incorporate it into their own style. But not the torso or h…
