It’s the little things that look wrong like the way that the bus kicks up dust. You don’t notice it when it happens once in an otherwise flawless animation production, but when it happens consistently with every little detail, it just looks uncanny. But the soullessness. AI won’t be able to capture human emotion without ripping straight from a human that knows how humans human.
I think the connection between AI bros and slugs is rather simple, actually. Slugs are invertebrates, meaning they and AI bros share one trait: an utter lack of spine.
Those who do not understand and can't imagine the power of AI can say like him😂😂😂
There IS a way to combat this:
Make automation cost more for the company than just paying a human worker a livable wage.
“Why is the birth rate so low?” “Why are less women actively dating/getting married?” “Why do women choose the bear?” One can only wonder! Smh deepfake and AI technology was a massive mistake that so many people warned would be a problem and sadly I fear that these kinds of crimes are just going to get worse since the ones committing them aren’t being severely punished. The fact that many of the …
@rhadiem You would be surprised how many young people actually have an issue with "Ai-art" while a lot of boomers (my generation) just cant get enough of it.
It falls apart when you start calling everything/anything "evil"
EDIT: this is NOT a defense of ai trash, it's just about the quote it self.
Any reply below that say otherwise is missing the point, i feel it should've been obvious.
Hello there, fellow ML human!
Something I'd also like to add is that the calculation of that "huge database of numbers" is essentially done by reducing a piece of artwork to a collection of pixel values and a few labels ("girl", "anime", etc.), metaphorically turning the knobs on a machine to make the output *kind of* look like the original artwork, taking another piece of artwork with the same …
There is a journalist who released information about four robots with artificial intelligence and they murdered 29 human beings in the lab in Japan. They dismantled one and tried to break apart the other three, one of them downloaded information connected from a satellite orbiting and was able to learn how to repair itself, but make it even more powerful before… This accident has already happened.
@memetech-post-processing would work a lot better, and also probably have a lot of interesting edge cases - The Scunthorpe problem is a classic example of why.
Of course, that's equally true when applying to humans, or perhaps even moreso (humans actively work against the filter, AI doesn't), so maybe it's more useful for AI usage - But point is I don't think Vedal is actually using a postproce…
The wealthy just need to hire a fraction of the population to protect themselves or use ai robots to protect themselves. The people will gladly turn to working in protection jobs rather than starving btw.
Part of it, yes. Chat gpt is known to have left-political leanings and political correctness, so you are right to a degree about Ai being influenced by the people programming it. However that is not the entire picture, as the video explained: Ai is hyperfocus in finding solutions and completing goals, so it just will do anything to achieve those goals, even 'imagining' new rules programmed into t…
The problem with AI has never been the _actual AI,_ but has always been the _human people_ using it to continue being horrible assholes to each other, just like they have always done with every new and currently under-regulated technology.
I think pilots dont even call it autopilot, or at least thats not how the manufacturers call it. Pilots get extensive training as to what the system can and cant.
Big difference to Teslas, considering how Elon constantly talks about self driving cars. Like in 2015 he said fully self driving cars are just 2 years away, its not a secret why he called it autopilot.
I was thinking something along these lines. "So, you mean to say that the AI you are training to think like a person....is thinking like a person!?"
This reminds me of something someone somewhere once said. Driverless cars will have to be programmed to make a choice between killing the passenger or a pedestrian in a situation where a fatal collision is unavoidable.
Every country needs to pull their weight, and we are in no way close to doing so.
That would motivate fringe liberals who are environmentally conscious anyway.
To get the right, who are against environmentalism and think climate change is a myth, you'll need to understand that their motivation is to spite the left.
So if you had some conspiracy published on a fake news site for Republicans that said Hilary suppressed global warming studies because she makes lots of money s…
We over the last year lost half of our inventory in our warehouse to automation now I'm laid off.
Really? Kiiinda making blanket statements man. There are massive numbers of middle and upper class people that litter relentlessly. The amount of times I've seen some asshole throw their fast food bag or cigarette butt out of their car window, or a financial suit just leave their coffee outside at lunch, often when there's a garbage receptacle within walking distance... Litter really doesn't have…
