Thank you for trying to calm down those in panic over this, while also talking about the issues we face with it. I see too many in the industry just saying to move on and adapt, without addressing the serious concerns with the tech that are hurting people currently.
I personally think it will fall out like NFTs. Mostly due to laws, and plenty of information debunking that this isn't actually Art…
I am only a hobbyist artist and even my work was used to train AI. That hit me right in the guts. When you think that some unknown hobbyist isn't even save from AI, how bad must it be for those who made it a career. My heart bleeds for everyone. I have been sharing my views on AI on all the platforms and shared many videos and I will share this one too. I have FB friends who have flooded my feed …
To be fair, that's the point of the idea: you use AI to generate a person, then use another AI program as a filter for your own face. There you go—that's human creativity in correcting mistakes.
1:30 its worth mentioning that OpenAI was a full non profit when founded, but after creating chatgpt they then turned their non profit into a for profit by adding a separate company to still look like they were a non profit.
Jeff Bezos can take pride in being a multibillionaire, living life lavishly, having more money than he knows what to do with while replacing his employees with robotics systems and AI. What a fine human being this man is. (Cough and puke!)
I am an AI/ML researcher for science. I find more often than not that these chatbots are grossly incorrect
Or the AI stole their work that is how AI gets their art style by Stealing From Artists. I hope nothing like this ever happens to me. That’s why I’m so scared to post my work on the Internet. 😂 Also tracing the outline of a model is not going to create that beautiful picture at the end. The person is still a great artist. I’m personally not a tracer but I don’t think that makes their art inferior…
"We should place risk of AI-caused extinction alongside the level of climate change and nuclear war." --- 'and then nothing happened' - Yep, seems about right. Nobody is doing anything substantial to prevent any of those scenarios. Nobody gives a damn as long as their wallet is growing.
Imagine you have a crush on AI girl but you know it 7 years later
0:33 quoi j'ai bien entendu l'IA ne remplacera pas le " CORDONNIER " ?! Le métier qui a déjà disparu sans IA depuis presque un demi siècle ?!! 😂
AI Developers: We're WAY past the point where we should have stopped, but let's keep going and see what happens!
As a big AI skeptic who works in big tech, this conversation left me really wanting more substance... Most of what this guy said was just some version "well I'VE been scared of superintelligence for 22 years, so listen to me!" without really making many real solid arguments as to why. The segment with him "roleplaying" as natural selection was baffling, I'm glad Ezra kept pushing back. Haven't re…
I am 64 years old and because what I see AI is capable of I now have dreams that can be made possible. I plan to build something for humans that would not have been economically possible without AI. Have a 2 year plan. People please use AI, argue with AI, teach AI. It all is getting so much easier I started on Chat 4.0 was more work back then. Enjoy and open your mind.
At 9:15 the robot asked the interviewer a serious question. The interviewer asked 'are you asking me?' Immediately, the robot asked a stupid question about hotdogs to avoid answering. Anyone else find that odd?
ai for pizza flavors, huh? who wouldve thought! reminds me of tackling cases without a framework—total chaos! stumbled upon The Thinksters back then. they showed me how to structure insights effectively. guess what? landed myself an offer at Bain. those free sessions were a lifesaver, although who knows if theyre still around!
The thing with A.I is that it's a snowball effect. Once a milestone is reached, it just improves on it so quickly.
You can hear the fear in his voice when speaking about A.I.’s future. We will comeback to this interview one day after it’s too late and probably gonna say “we should’ve listened…”
I work in a marketing department for a hospital and they recently got all of us licenses to the top AI programs. The head of our PR department doesn't even write his own press releases anymore. I'm a photographer and artist and i think it's gross.
There are adults smart enough to reject sycophantic personalities/chatbots but there are wayyy too many adults that aren’t and children who are still developing their social skills. There’s more harm than silly fun to be had here.
You realize, of course, that all the “improvements” artists are posting based on this Ai work will, of course, be directly used to further improve the AI’s engine going forward by incorporating them into the software… <sigh>. So, in essence what these artists are doing it bolstering and improving the “enemy’.
