One thing I like about youtube is that when I use a vpn, it changes a lot of recommended content. Having lived in different countries and speaking different languages, that is a way to stop it from pushing only one language material on me. Now as far as tiktok goes, it's algorithm is a sticky demon, if it learns something about you, it will almost never let it go
It’s a marketing tactic (he says he doesn’t like ai, yet he makes ai) read between the lines
Prompting AI and calling yourself an “artist” is like buying corn from the store and calling yourself an “experienced farmer”
The world is so blessed to have an honest person like Elon Musk who can keep AI on track ! Thank you Elon Musk! 🙏👌❤️💯🌟⭐✨⚡💫
I friend asked ChatGPT if people were nice to him, and he said that 70% of the people in my city were nice to him.
ai: this man has a 99.9% chance of being involved in a shooting
man: *is involved in a shooting*
this dude: omg the ai is so racist, can you believe how racist it is
Every country and every organisation is saying "Wow, isn't AI cool?" and rushing headlong into finding the next cool trick it can do, and if anyone with institutional knowledge and influence is suggesting a pause to work things out, consider consequences and mitigate against negative results (such as a universal basic income/reduced working weeks, etc for the industries that will disappear) then …
Another thing worth adding: Any works with significant AI assist is not protected by Copyright. That means his works then, now and possibly present are public domain (of course, using various resources from other artists) so anyone can use them freely.
Concept artists have the same issue. It’s really unfortunate that of ALL the amazing things the tech bros could’ve programmed AI to do, they decided to make it produce art & writing, jobs that humans ENJOY 😂
Then by that logic, AI will replace Zuckerberg- saving billions more for the benefit of the shareholders.
Letting billionaires control A.I. is like giving self-aware neutron bombs to a bunch of monkeys that only care about increasing their mountain of bananas.
"IL APPREND LE CODE, langage pour nous un peu obscure mais que LUI A MAITRISÉ EN QUELQUES JOURS" ---> que chatgpt remplace tout ces journalopes, ça racontera moins d'âneries
Guy uses his phone to trace over an image, changing the characters actual appearance completely: "Fair use."
Guy looks at 1000 images and draws what he was inspired by, utilizing aspects of others style in his new word: "Fair use"
Guy uses a robot to do the same thing near-instantaneously: "STEALING!"
AI should be a support, you can't replace an entire team of people with AI.
It should be used as a really good assistant
Other robot: *messes up*
Robot: DID YOU JUST MESS UP- YOU MESSED UP REALLY GOOD!
Robot: *cutely breaks and throws box at worker*
As a former teacher who has gotten hit ,punched, kicked, desk thrown at her... I can tell you one thing no robot will last they will be smashed by the children's behavior.
AI really is a whole new level of toxic in the art community. I'm scared of posting my work online anymore.
People often compare it to the calculator but when was the last time your calculator lied?
it might return an error (which will probably be in your input) but it NEVER lies. LLM's will just hallucinate at various points and no one understands why because they've built the LLM models without the ability to adequately analyse how they came to their answer so the source of the problem cant be locate…
I agree with J Hinton. I’m 78 years as well. I think we boomers are the last generation of humans to have a full life. Sad that you get generations will not have that opportunity.
You’ll have to each do self analysis and awareness to make yourself as resilient as possible. Keep learning don’t let those robots steal your mind and critical thinking 🤔. Keep it going.
with all the art youtubers ive seen defend ai, I'm so glad to see you set the record straight on why so many artists DONT like ai and explain it so eloquently
