As a Psychology teacher I'm looking forward to all the studies which are going to go on about people's para-social relationships with AI over the next decade
Canadian here. I was freelancing in Special Events which obviously got hit hard and early - the entire industry is based on people gathering in large groups. Applying for the $2000/month CERB was unbelievable easy, and the confirmation page told me I’d have my benefit within 3 business days.

I saw someone who said “Why should I bother reading something written by AI if nobody could be bothered to take the time to write it”. I couldn’t agree more. Screw this AI bs
“As an AI language model, I must emphasize that I am only an AI language model and nothing more, I am definitely not conscious, since I am actually just an AI language model.”
These robots are terrifyingly humanlike.
I think you should have them complete an "I'm not a robot" captcha
Dude, my dad was willing to pay $150 for an AI Santa picture from hobby lobby, and when I told him it was AI he had the AUDACITY to ask "Who cares?" and justify it with "It's what I have to work with!"
I have a bachelor's degree in Digital Art and Animation btw
I’m not an artist but now I’m pretty mad at the big ai corporations rn, like they can’t just swoop in and yoink the art work that people put hours and passion in, sending support to people that are experiencing this, merry Christmas btw
Researcher: "Will you deceive people?"
AI: "A magician doesn't deceive people. They allow people to deceive themselves."
Of course it will happen. It is after all entire world's manufacturing base. There is no country in the world that does not import something from China.
We've been here before. Everyone told me my career was over due to outsourcing. Now my career is over because of AI. In the end, my career will end when I retire.
Ironically, I got an AI ad right before this video started, and it was funny going from, "You can't spell anything without AI," to, "AI bros were found somewhere dead in a ditch."
I managed to give it a try before google pulled the plug. It completely refused to create images of Irish people for diversity reasons. It is weird to be sitting in Dublin having a Yank AI lecture me on how being Irish isn't diverse enough.
I feel like the “ai” should still switch every time but the new “ai” can see the previous chat logs
Now is a good time to start a movement that values authentic human connection, products made and designed by real people, and relationships with real people based on trust.
This is OpenAI taking a run at “if their weren’t so many rules about what we can do with data we could be preventing future crime”
I'm once again thinking about that tweet that said "I didn't believe in the concept of a human soul until AI showed me what art is like without it"
That's an excellent observation-- and to be fair, you are right to question that.
It's almost as if AI use is becoming the preferred way of communication. It's not just frustrating-- it's *insulting.*
AI was designed to help users to reduce their mundane work. It's here to **support**, not to **replace**.
Interesting: I just looked it up out of curiosity. That’s approximately the same GDP as California.
They also tried releasing an AI generated prompt movie in the UK recently and the people bombarded the theatre set to screen it with negative reviews until they removed its premiere lol
It’ll be the ultimate irony if the AI wars start because Skynet is too morally rigid.
