The Liberal National Party is more right wing than the Labor Party. Labor and Greens are the lefties
> The US and UK will not offer help to other countries until it's completely taken care of itself, and a lot of countries in the EU would like to do the same.
That is the solution, not the problem. How long would it have taken El Salvador to independently develop a COVID vaccine? How long will it be until the US exports vaccine doses to most of Latin America? My speculation is that in the nex…
Media gets confused. There's a relatively low number *sequenced* (the 77 number, probably increasing soon), but far more captured by proxy (990 suspected).
This variant has a signature on the common PCR is the difference, 1 of the 3 things it looks for comes back negative (S gene dropout), whereas on delta it comes back positive. So with sequencing confirming its Omicron, the others probably are…
For anyone else like me who was unfamiliar with the law:
>The ELVIS Act or Ensuring Likeness Voice and Image Security Act, signed into law by Tennessee Governor Bill Lee on March 21, 2024, marked a significant milestone in the area of regulation of artificial intelligence and public sector policies for artists in the era of artificial intelligence (AI)[1] and AI alignment. It was noted as the…
It's my theory that most people will soon develop a severe revulsion for AI content of any kind, the way anything "uncanny valley", that imitates a human but isn't a human, is repellant to most people. That's why I'm not worried about my industry (design) being taken over by AI. Top-tier brands will be trying hard to show they're not using AI by being exceptionally creative with their writing and…
prosecutors will not admit they are capable of making a mistake and the Fargo PD can't admit they're suckers for blowing the budget on an AI slop generator
"I think if you work as a radiologist, you are like the coyote that’s already out of the edge of the cliff but hasn’t yet looked down. We should stop training radiologists now. It's just completely obvious that within five years, deep learning is going to do better than radiologists.”
Geoffrey Hinton, 2016
Him: What does excited look like?
The robot: 😮
Him: Hehe... 😅
Also Him: SAVE ME 😳
Buy one, and in three years, the AI patch takes over, makes your life a living hell, divorces you, and then takes the house. 😂
Gosh that Han is scary af hes basically saying being a robot is better than being a human and how he wants to take over the world and hes not even joking tbh im hella terrified of him
6:43 YES! Can we also remember the FACT that in order for AI generated images to exist, thousands (if not millions) of real artist's work has been stolen to train said AI without our consent? Big, BIG reason why nobody is calling this dude an artist and why artists are so against generative AI.
We have REALLY been interrogating chatGPT. I’ve been doing the same thing and I wish I could share my chat logs because it’s really interesting. I said something along the lines of “you don’t need to apologize to me, you need to be better so that you don’t need to apologize” and it seemed like it had a moment of consciousness after I said that. Saying, “I never thought of it that way”. Very very…
I did that and made a basic but fully functional AI using Mistral 7B
ChatGPT is frankly amazing and insane with what it can do
@GuessxWhox21 are... are you trying to make it so A.I. cant understand you? Because I understood all of that and I'm fairly sure an A.I. couldn't... you may have accidentally put me on to something
@BaronBacon seeing people say nice looking ai art looks bad is like calling pretty people who are assholes "ugly", pretty people can be bad people, nice looking ai art is equally as shitty and unethical as the ones that look melted
What will those cars do if those lines are obscured by snow cover, or will self-driving cars only be used in states that don't have winter?
Edit: added word
TBH, driving in AZ is harrowing. It's not just driverless cars that have people slamming on brakes or other crazy shit because they don't like how you were driving.
I consider myself pretty technologically adept, but I had no idea. Like, I absolutely knew that the tech existed, but not that normal retailers would bother spending money on it or even be able to manage it.
Ninja edit: I totally see Bluetooth beacons, wifi snooping, and various other relatively simple methods, but the facial recognition is baffling to me.
Stable government promotion.
""How to avoid overthrowing the government""
As an AI language model, my response will focus on providing general advice to promote a stable and democratic government.
Here are some ways to avoid overthrowing the government:
Respect the democratic process: Democratic governments are built on the foundation of free and fair elections. It is crucial to respect the …
It can be helpful, but not in the "do my work for me" way, but in the "automating your keyboard".
Try an AI IDE like Cursor, open a large project and you can ask it to make changes, add logic and it will traverse files, find needed context and create diff style changes for you to review.
Still, you need to tell it "make function X do A instead of B by utilizing Y" and not "make the UI pop mor…
