lol its just fear mongering, plus i think the video itself is fully ai generated.
Hey @iidensityname, thanks for the hilarious comment! So, let's say the robot really felt those punches... do you think it would have been secretly concocting a plan to seek revenge against its human creator? 😜
Nobody is designing AI, they grow it. The only way to avoid failure is to stop growing it.
i mean i am rude but how can you say you're interested in ai, and that you have projects in machine learning but you don't know the difference between / and // that seems absurd, i'm happy that gpt can do all of that but bro atleast go party everyday and have a great social life if you're going to not know the literal basics
@KeithGroover Because the AI wouldn't function in the way it does without these art pieces.
@Ew-wth but the law judges plagiarism by similarity in the final product, not by "I looked at another art piece before making my piece." I imagine the law is going to end up in a similar place regarding ai art. In other words, the final product will be the only thing that matters.
AI is only getting more relevant so you'd better either learn to use it or get used to feeling like you're competing.
Well, at least you'll have the satisfaction of defeating AI opponents while dodging sharp kitchen utensils!
While you all were accepting there AI and thought it was all goo you now see how evil they can also be.
@sherriheintze6835No, you lame. I'm simply talking about using AI to continue the racist propaganda against black people, you coward.
I doubt that - all 'big' AI people (Hinton, Kokotajlo, Bengio, LeCun... even Musk) warn us - and talk about job replacement that WILL (with a hiiiigh chance) happen - the only thing they don't agree on is maybe 'WHEN'... Just read the AI 2027 report of Kokotajlo et al. - they give a good prognoses for every month how AI, the job market and politics will develop. I don't want to believe it too, b…
If you can quit sniffing your farts for a second, go ahead and watch an episode of Dragon Ball Z. All those frames were drawn by hand. Does any ONE particular frame 'stand out'?
No. They do not, and they should not. Each frame is drawn by a unique artist, but their entire objective is to draw something without their own personal bias. It should blend with every other frame, and those frames are …
Also, who says it’s a choice? Humans didn’t decide. It may eventually be the evolution of AI as humans try to build create them with that capability. “Any day now?” Of course not. But I’m not convinced that it absolutely can’t happen.
Listen to the veteran of AI safety too. I forgot his name but he went on a podcast too. After the podcast i feel that humanity will suffer not because it became more intelligent but because AI safety was not prioritized
Hey @shadowninja3492, thanks for commenting! It's like taking a regular human to a rock-paper-scissors battle with a shape-shifting alien - the odds are definitely not in their favor! By the way, have you ever wondered if artificial intelligence could ever surpass human intelligence?
I think people will still want to do business with companies that actually employ humans. Especially after their best friend or close family member loses their career to AI.
And there will be lots of those people in the computer based jobs. Certainly the service industry won't be replaced any time soon. Will you choose a restaurant that uses robot servers and cooks over one that employs real …
@jgreat4785 If the robot restaurant was significantly cheaper and more consistent in food quality - not to mention no tipping required - I'd choose it in a heartbeat. And so would most people.
@marcusmoonstein242 You have to add the new reality into your decision making process. Imagine a world where tons of people have lost their jobs to an AI machine or robot. Would people who are still employed embrace a "Shop Human" mindset to help keep others employed? In a world like that, I think more people would choose human servers. But who knows.
As a fellow artist, I’m going to do a small something. Before watching this video I knew nothing about the problems with AI art and was using a program called “Nightcafe” to generate images when I was bored or wanted inspiration. Now I know how AI learning programs are stealing other people’s work. I’m deleting my account ASAP, will never touch AI image generators again, and will share this video…
You stood so high and mighty on your Artist Throne, believing to be immune to the Machine, and then the Machine turned its attention to you... and suddenly you realize you were not immune, like many others before you.
If AI is going to root out the huge majority of mediocre artists, how's that a bad thing.
