I doubt that - all 'big' AI people (Hinton, Kokotajlo, Bengio, LeCun... even Musk) warn us - and talk about job replacement that WILL (with a hiiiigh chance) happen - the only thing they don't agree on is maybe 'WHEN'... Just read the AI 2027 report of Kokotajlo et al. - they give a good prognoses for every month how AI, the job market and politics will develop. I don't want to believe it too, but I rather believe the thoughts of those people than my own ego :I
