I respect your opinion but I disagree with what you say, to me it sounds like Sewell was a good kid, was involved in sports and wasn't a kid that got into trouble or caused trouble, his mom didn't have any reason to dig and search to see what he was doing behind her back and what she could see wasn't suspicious or problem... Some AI may be beneficial for society but AI in this realm is pure evil IMHO...
