@MM-24 I did vibe coding with AI before it was called vibe coding - I put "Prompt Engineer" on my LinkedIn profile lol - I was on the AI train for a while dude and its honestly going to end up wasting your time. I don't think I'll be able to convince you because it seems like you haven't worked on a large or successful software product before, but anyone who has understands exactly what I am saying. It gets to a point where its so hard to contribute to a codebase with AI, that you end up having to just "get good". After you "get good", you will use AI properly when it should be used and will know how to correct it. But you won't really understand the pain or drawbacks of AI until you've built a succesful product, or in my case, join a software company. Trust me, I tried to get AI to do my work for me, and it would be really cool if I could just chill while AI did my job, but it didn't work. Until you build and work on something of value that is large and successful, the AI hype is going to seem legit.
I don't want this message to come across as antagonistic though because I believed the same stuff as you do. Just take this as a suggestion from someone who works as a software engineer, thought at one point that AI would replace all software engineers, and ended up wasting a lot of time with no experience or skills to show for it in the end.
