Waymo has to be programmed for each new scenario, Tesla just has to be shown video. Tesla is much easier to program with video for each new scenario vs coding. FSD was clearly behind Waymo a year ago. Today its a toss-up... A year from now, Tesla AI video learning will clearly pass Waymo. Simply easier to introduce new scenarios faster. As it is Tesla can drive on a Highway, a rural dirt road, etc... Waymo can't do that. Tesla could (if legal) drive between cities or out into the country. Waymo is geofenced to mapped territories.
