I'd agree there are risks to AI, but there's also a risk to looking at things in only one way. Maybe GPT has pushed some people closer to take their own lives, but how many people's lives has it made better in some way? Maybe it's talked people *out* of that sort of thing. You could make similar arguments about lots of technologies. People die horrific deaths in cars everyday, but are all the roads too risky to keep open?
