There is nothing wrong with NFTs, it's just popular to hate it for no reason. NFTs give the digital artist the way to make money and sell something unique but digital.
AI will replace artists in some niches like Indie band covers and editorial pics because there is not much money in it anyway, and take a cut of more important categories too in the future. If you can't stop it there is no point in being sad about it. It's inevitable.
