Black Daddy It's not just a white person thing to want to improve our technology, it's a human thing. I will say that the majority of people in high enough positions to be working on this kind of technology are white. This is a separate problem that has to do with black people not getting the same opportunity as white people. But it is human nature to avoid the bigger picture. These companies that are producing AI don't care about the possibility of ASI taking over, they care about making money because that will benefit them now. And as another example, despite climate change being a big concern among scientists who have done extensive research, the general public decides to dismiss it. Humans, unfortunately, have a tendency to think only about the present benefits without weighing in the future costs. This is just a part of being human, not specific to any race, and will most likely lead to our extinction.
