While the auto plant is a solid example, that's a static location. There is a cost to deployment of any remote labor force, and the smaller and more temporary the job, the bigger the cost benefits ratio. Is it possible that some robot will be able to do any job? Sure, but is the cost worth it? Menial tasks and remote deployment are by far the least likely to be replaced.
