The problem is that AI was constructed stealing every single art piece of all artists, without their permission. And no, it's not the same as inspiring yourself to make something similar, nor making a painting study, the developers literally stole the art and feed it to their project.
So, imagine someone stole your face and pretended to be you by making a bad impersonation of you and people like to hang around this clone of yours and there's even some people saying "I don't understand why shubhansingh04 is upset".
That and the fact that a lot of AI bros literally wish artists to lose their hardly earned jobs, fantasize about a deranged "future where everyone can create their movies / art" without even knowing what a good movie / painting / song is, and even pretend that they do art (when the AI is the one doing the work).
So, I think the hate AI receives is at least comprehensible.
