@JubulusPrime I mean digitally that's the nice thing, if you don't like results you can always undo them. Same with AI. If you don't like what it produced, you can scrap it. And it really depends on the person behind the piece. Like the game CK3s art team has been using AI to do rough coloring and sketching alongside their art team to help them rough out many of the background screens to various pop-ups while the artist themselves often just use the AI stuff as a basis to work from rather than a basis to get work done.
In the end, it's going to get relegated to being used as a tool in most of the art/animation/graphics software. While a lot of the stuff we see is going to die out once enough marketplaces put up rules and sane companies realize no one wants 100% AI made art in their product.
