Well, the fact is that the artist world can seem pretty gatekeepy at times, so I don't blame them for feeling that way. Look at how beginners get treated and made fun of on Tik-Tok. Look at how the majority of artists on YouTube have beautiful page-to-page sketchbooks, not showing the sketchy and bad drawings. Look at the sentiment thrown around that you "have to know the rules before you break them". Being imperfect/unstudied with art is looked down upon.
Th fact of the matter is that you don't have to be "Good" at art to be an artist. But the majority of the art community shows a sanitized version of it, which is really discouraging to people. And this is said as someone who is against AI.
