Definitely accurate, but I think his broader point of the cat being out of the bag now and that there is no going back because even if every tech company in the US decide to stop everything China and other countries will just use this to their advantage to sprint ahead of us is spot on. The goal had to be to never develop this level of AI in the first place because once it exists, someone somewhere is certain to continue developing it. All countries and companies would have to voluntarily decide to halt progress in unison, which won't happen.
