@laurentiuvladutmanea  @Laurențiu Vlăduț Manea   @Laurențiu Vlăduț Manea  saying that welfare is a moral good doesn't change the fact that printing money and devaluing currency does way more harm to society as a whole. I work for a living so that people who don't can make me poorer every day. Seems fair. Simply saying people should just do art in their free time is naive. Why don't you just do it in your free time? Last time I checked, ai isn't holding guns to your head stopping you. If it's not about money, then this shouldn't be a problem. Since this isn't really about welfare or capitalism I'll try to avoid that any further and stick with ai in art. I can quite easily get some paper and some crayons and make art. Kids do it everyday. And to be frank, I don't see ai art creating something as abstract and expressive as that ever. Sure it can copy everything about it, but without the feeling and emotion it's simply not possible. Ai will be able to create beautiful pictures that is hard for most of us to make. But I can draw a picture expressing my love, memories, and emotions I feel for my sister and a computer never will. Ai in art is a threat to corporate artists. But I don't think that is true art. I'm adamant on this belief, that art is a window to your soul, and if you make art for money your soul is greedy. You are literally selling your soul for money. Machines have no soul and thus make the perfect thing to do corporate vanity works. Artists will not be replaced by ai because ai cannot replicate emotions well at all. One day in the future perhaps this thought will age like milk and be spoiled and rottenly false, but I don't think it will ever occur. Perhaps my religion is bleeding through in this as well, that humans have souls. Regardless this is my belief.
