AI might create new 3d tools, the pipeline might change a bit. But for many basic needs 3d will be easier to use, so no quick buck doing 3d. Why to pay for an artist when there will be a software, which scans objects on iphone and spits out fine models? Just clean up and go. Prior to this people hired 3d modelers
