Midjourney challenges these new allegations, arguing that the plaintiffs should specifically identify which of their registered (officially copyrighted) works were used in the training of the AI. Midjourney suggests that without this level of specificity, the plaintiffs' claims should not stand.

Instead, the court believes that the plaintiffs have provided enough detail to make their claims plausible. The plaintiffs have shown why they believe their works were included in these datasets and how Midjourney's AI product could potentially produce images that resemble their copyrighted works when specific prompts are used
