Authors have been warning about this for a century at least. But because they were "science fiction" writers, everyone pooh-pooh'd their warnings. "What do they know?" Turns out they knew EVERYTHING that was relevant. The tech details DO NOT MATTER. What matters is the logical end of the entire CONCEPT of AI, which is a very, very bad one. But hey, a few psychopaths get to steal billions of dollars, so the rest of us can just starve. That's the human way - power to the biggest gorilla, while all the little monkeys get nothing.
