​@LOLlolLOLlolLO he uses the same rhetoric because he's asking the same questions to different people. Yeah, it's going to get repetitive. He only mutes people when they are either being disingenuous or avoiding the question that he asks them. If they don't like that, they don't have to go up and debate him in the first place. Rarely have I ever seen him get out argued to the point where somebody is even able to use his tactics against him. Most of the people he debates with are not going to change their minds so it's not so much about changing their minds as it is giving the viewers a different perspective from the one they perhaps grew up with or are surrounded by. The difference between him and the people he debates is that he gets his opinions from factual information combined with empathy and reasoning whereas the people he debates with get their viewpoints from propaganda and irrational thinking. Can he be smug? Absolutely. But after debating thousands upon thousands of people that couldn't tell you a single policy they like of Trumps, I would be smug too. I've been watching Dean and his friend Parker for years now. I do prefer Parker because he is a lot more patient with people but I understand the impatience when you're arguing with people that can't name the continents on this planet or even a single policy Trump has passed while being able to fully defend it given the facts. You don't have to tune in, though, if you don't like the way he does things. In all honesty, engaging with his content is exactly what he wants regardless of your opinion because at the very least, it will boost him in the algorithm so he finds more people that will subscribe and support him. So he kind of wins either way.
