We dont really know what consciousness is. But because ours is inextricably linked , woven into our biology, it is a different kind than the one that could arise in A.I. , but that doesnt mean A.I cant achieve something like it. And if mimcking consciousness can be done on higher levels than our actual consciousness, than ....it kinda becomes a moot point
