I continued to iterate on these thoughts. No, the rich would remain rich, but their capital would grow at a slower rate. The market would be reduced to the people who own property; that is, in many societies, the market would shrink by 80%, and this reduction would increase as people burned their property. The poor would be partly repressed and partly satisfied with cheap goods produced by AI. The rich would build citadels to protect themselves and their property. We would return to a kind of Middle Ages with high-tech fortresses instead of castles. The state would cease to be important due to falling incomes and would be as influential as the United Nations (haha). Many would want to nationalize industries and found new communisms, as I said above. Civil war.
Well, I must be wrong somewhere.
