@jamescarroll8917 Here's the issue. AI can work exactly like humans, it can be better than humans, it doesn't matter. AI companies should get permission from artists to use their work in the training data sets used to power these AI models. The size of their data sets relevative to model weights may be true, but the size of the data sets is huge, billions and billions of data, artwork, photographs, even people's medical data has been found in the data sets and more. And the models only work, because of that data, it's at the heart of their capabilities. As humans, even though we work the same, we are not entitled to everyone's property by virtue of being similiar. It should be the same for ai.
