Yes, sadly on private level only though. It doesn´t prevent collection and misuse of the same data from companies at all. Every construction site, state building, bank, etc. has cameras like that nowadays.
Many cities are rolling out cameras in public spaces as well and some states like Hesse and Berlin started exploring the usage of that data for AI based predictive policing.
They do want camera coverage, they just don´t want giving you access to it.
