Sometimes I wonder if the hate AI gets would be different if none of the images were stolen. I don't like AI and hate how it's replacing real images on the internet with AI slop. Same with AI websites (Auto generated), music, etc. I don't look at new songs made within this or last year anymore unless I know the artist or they have older work. As an artist I stopped posting my art on most websites and only on one where I can hide it (and only share it with few people) and one more where the owner is actively in a lawsuit against AI where her works were stolen.
I will say, I don't understand why you sound so sour in your comment. Artists are people who make artwork. No, not prompters. They aren't making it, a machine is, which used images from artists all over the world (including mine). Artists have the right to decide what their art is used for. Just like you have the right to decide if your images (selfies for example) or voice is used in AI. Which, it probably is used in AI if you use Google.
