@MrDonthinkso I think that we are at a cross section between AI's utility and our ability to innovate. The speed at which we will need to create entire new industries needs to be faster than AI's ability to replace us in those created jobs. It just seems unlikely to me that there will be enough jobs that require us to work with our hands to support all of those lost who have adapted to working white collar jobs. And I certainly don't believe gov intervention has the speed it would take to setup reliable and realistic UBI.
