Possibly, but this is a large assumption. Yes, Google has vested interest in AI, but I don't accept the idea that this actually does that, nor do I think most companies think that way. That's like thinking the team that made the Sonic movie intentionally made a bad design so that they could pivot with a good design and look like heroes. Companies almost never do something that way. It's a tremendously stupid and risky way to run business decisions.
