@stefanorizzo3384 It doesn't though? It's just one aspect of the regulation and I wouldn't say it is the focus either. Have you actually taken a look at it?
The primary focus is ensuring transparency on what is and isn't AI content as well as quality assurance is any AI that is used in a high risk environment.
As for jobs. Well that is imo mostly a matter of social services and redistributive measures. However while it is important it is also not critically important right now. The things regulated here have a much more immediate impact and the changes are also comparatively uncontroversial. Good luck getting conservatives onboard with handling mass automation.
