Depends on what you mean by accept it. Do you mean accept it as being used by corporations for specific tasks? Accept it as being present on artists portfolios and sites? Accept it in contests?
Because lets be honest, if it was not for the immoral way it was used, it would be considered a combination of the visual arts equivalent of autotune and synthesizers. Not respected at all, but people would let it slide in corporate and mainstream environments, even if they would mock it as lazy.
